I recently bought all the parts i need for my new system, and I'm not sure about which wifi card to get. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a reliable card to get. Any help or input is appreciated, and thanks in advance
I have an Intel 7260 ac card and it is excellent, its a bit expensive but you can't get much better than Intel when it comes to networking hardware

thanks, ill definitely look into it
Intel, Asus, linksys, Trendnet, D-link is starting to become a better brand.
I'd say choose either Intel or Asus, both are very good
(just don't get a wireless card the is under $30...that's just waiting to fail) My mother had gotten a cheap nasty realtek-based rosewill wifi card and it is by far the sadist thing you will ever use...
I use a Asus usb powered card. Not sure what the model was but it's like $50. Never had any issues with it and looks good on my desk.
Something like this if you can afford it > http://www.tp-link.com.au/products/details/?model=TL-WN822N
I use this >> http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/details/?model=tl-wn722n << for use in Kali Linux for .... purposes. Works well enough.
Atheros wifi's used to be good but as up said tp-link used to use their chips so they are good too.
Thanks, everyone for the input
If you have a spare USB 2 (or 3) slot at the back, you can just as easily purchase a usb adapter and leave the PCI E slot for something else in the future.
