Okay so I just built my pc and it wont boot. The motherboard has power and the motherboard power button is bright orange. I have looked up what I could try to fix this such as putting memory in different slots, using only one memory stick, using only one hard drive connected, and making sure everything is plugged in. All of these I tried to no avail. So far I ahve narrowed it down to two possible problems.
1.When I first installed the cpu and cooler, I put in the cpu the wrong way (I know this may be a big problem) and realized I did so while flipping through the motherboard manual. After freaking out a bit, I took the cooler off and all the pins looked to be in order. I reinstalled the cpu and cooler and tried to boot and did not boot.
- I still dont have my graphics card yet as it is being shipped to me. I read this may cause the pc to not boot but my processor i believe has integrated graphics so I didnt think it would be a problem (intel i5 4690k). Could it still not boot?
Thanks for any help guys
