PC upgrades

Hello everyone,

So i have built my PC and i have been wondering what i should upgrade. I am thinking of getting a different CPU cooler as of now i have the stock Intel cooler. Also i have noticed that the top 200 mm fan is rather load . if you guys can find the upgrades in red and or red LED's , as my theme for this build is red. To add on, i know all the stuff about SSD's and if i do get one it has to be 256 GB because i want space for games and some programs.

If you don't know i live at two houses so i need to build another for my mom's as my PC is at my dad's. So i when i build the other one i am going to take the GTX 660 that i have and put it into the new one. As you can imagine then i need a new Graphics card for my PC at my dad's. I'm thinking the GTX 760 w/ ACX cooler. But i am open to suggestions BTW : i would like to keep the video cards Nvidia based.

Here is my current PC: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Ianeo5/saved/2i5S

Any responses are greatly appreciated!

What is your budget for said upgrades?

$400 for the upgrades. This doesn't include the other pc

I would start with a new monitor, then a new graphics card.

Does that monitor display 1080p? From the specs I see, the monitor is only 900p.

If you don't want to make the jump to 1080p, then maybe the 660 would also be alright.

In which case, an ssd would be an alright upgrade. Now which one... I guess you'd have to pick between budget and high end. I got a cheap 128 gb, 50$, one, and I get 350 mb reads and 175 mb writes. A higher end one would get ~500 mb read/write, but would cost 2x the price (or more).

Now, for your cooler... Are you getting uncomfortable temps? I have a h100 (but I don't really see the point, I wish I did full fledged water cooling) and it's just okay... I don't really know of a red cooler off the top of my head.

OK thanks a lot!

What do you guys think about a CPU cooler?
