PC upgrade

I am upgrading my pc i have a lenovo k300 case that i want to keep it is a micro atx form factor. I am wanting to get a new CPU and amd 6 core or 8 core preferably because i do a lot of editing. the motherboard i don't really care about it just want it to work for at lest 2 years. and if it is possible i would like to upgrade my gpu but it can weight if it has to im using a amd hd 6570 thanks for helping!

Do you have a budget? And if you desire an AMD octacore, all acceptable motherboards are actually ATX form factor. But there's a good number of affordable cases you might consider.

ya about 300 to 350 i looked in to getting a core 2 quad a 9550 but i did not know it would be worth it its like 150 dollars. right know i have a Pentium duel core and its just barley not cutting it any more with to days games.

Do you have DDR3 RAM modules, a harddrive, and a power supply you can reuse from your old Lenovo?

If so, these are some good complimenting parts:

ya i got all of that

that looks pretty good thank you so much

If that proves inadequate for you, consider an alternative platform:

This is mATX, which will enable you to use your old computer chassis. This has a much higher level of performance for gaming, it will play BF4 on high settings 1080p.

There's $50 remaining which you could use for complimentary parts, or a stronger GPU e.g R9 270

This is better for gaming. While the CPU is weaker, it has a stronger GPU.

You may want to pick up a new case as well, since that's ATX.  If you want to go smaller, but keep the processing power, you'll have to shell out a little bit more money for Intel.

nice

looks good thanks
