Pc turns on for 20 seconds then turns off then restarts. No video output

This is my sister’s pc. The only thing I’ve done is taken out the gpu then put it back in before the problem occurred. I originally planned to replace the gpu with my old 1070 Ti.

error codes? slots tested? power cables checked? Known good gpu put in?

I used to receive 5 short beeps from the speaker but after reseting cmos no beeps at all. Only one slot. Power cable is fine. Gtx 1650 is the good gpu. I’ve also reseated the ram to no solution.

Whats the mobo manual say?

According to a website CPU issue. https://www.gigabyte.com/Support/FAQ/816

reseat the cpu?

OK ill try.

Nothing.

Modular PSU, would probably try and replug all the power connectors

Done that.

Swap what known good parts you have after that contact manufacture if under warranty still

Can’t. motherboard 3 years old. Warranty is 2.

Check board for blown components? Caps etc

Nothing. Now it won’t turn on at all.

bad memory…
unrecognized CPU…
BIOS too old to recognize memory or cpu…?

Everything is good.

and what worked ?

Nothing. The pc won’t turn on at all now. But everything else is fine.

Seems like it is time to break down the system and carefully go over the parts for damage. Cables ect. Carefully rebuild it. Pay attention to the cpu socket and be sure to hit the socket with some air to clean out any debris. Take the cmos battery completely out of the system for a bit. Make sure all connections are seated correctly and and in the correct location( case connections )

Reminds me… need more tim.

Take your time and be careful and mindful of any thing that does not look right.

Not turning on at all means either dead PSU or mobo.

All other things would produce an error on POST.
