Hey Logan what Recording software do you use to record your screen when your doing the TEK or a PC build guide. I saw you used OBS in your what to do with a new laptop video.

It looks like he uses OBS. You can do a screencapture to harddrive. This funktion is native in OBS.
Just download OBS and try it yourself, setup should be pretty easy. Your CPU is a 6-Core, so NP. :)
