PC randomly powering off. Help please

Hey guys, I'm a long time Tek viewer but pretty new to the forums. I've been having an intermittent issue with my PC I built about a year and a half ago but it seems to be getting worse.

Sometimes my PC just completely powers off for apparently no reason. The front power button will be non-responsive after this happens. I will have to switch the power off at the back of the PSU, wait around 10 seconds til all the lights go out on the mobo, GPU etc & then switch it back on again. Also occasionally it will just power off & restart. Sometimes it's while I'm gaming, sometimes browsing the web or sometimes when I've walked away for a minute so it doesn't seem to be any particular task. I am running overclocked settings but I have tried going back to lower clock speeds & the problem still occurred. I've tried running tools to monitor voltages, temperatures etc but I haven't found anything useful. All I get from the Windows Event Viewer is Kernel-Power event ID 41.

Any advice would be much appreciated, I'll list my specs below.

CPU: i7 3770K currently at 4.1GHz, but I have clocked up to 4.3, cooled by Antec Kuhler 920

Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe

GPU: Asus GTX670-DC2T-2GD5

RAM: Kingston 16GB 1866MHz DDR3

PSU: Antec 750W High Current Pro Power Supply, 80 PLUS Gold

are you sure this isn't an over heating problem?

if not , have you tried to clear cmos and reconfigure the bios from scratch?

Over heating

Bad PSU

Bad ram

When everything crashes, is there any lights that turn red on your mobo/graphics card?

Have you tried monitoring temps with something such as HWMonitor? That can monitor your CPU, GPU, and a whole bunch of other hardwares temps.

Is your PSU fan spinning or psu getting enough air?

I have a feeling its over heating, or bad component...

It's likely a power issue.

Check every power connection in your PC as well as the power connections going into your pc (Power bar, cable going into PSU)

Could also be an issue with your motherboard.

Thanks guys, I haven't noticed any red lights or anything, but I'll be sure to look for any next time it happens. I'll also make sure to double check all my connections.

I'm constantly monitoring my temperatures with an LCD on my Logitech G510s keyboard & I've also tried monitoring through the Trigone Remote System Monitor app, using my tablet to watch temps & voltages. Like I said, I haven't noticed any spikes when the problem occurs.

Remove the cpu oc and see if it happens again.
