PC problems

Hi, my computer is not even trying to boot up. It just sits on a black screen boosting the gpu fan to 80% or so and then it calms down, then repeats. When the RAM is removed the motherboard does not give any post processing beeps, leading me to believe that the problem lies with the motherboard. The strange thing is that when I put the RAM back in the computer starts fine. I think the motherboard is dying.

Do you guys have any idea what is happening?? Thanks

Specs:

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-78LMT

Processor: AMD FX-6300 (stock cooler)

RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance

GPU: HD 7870 GHz Edition (stock cooler)

PSU: Thermaltake 630W

2 HDD's + 1 Disk Drive

is there honestly nobody that knows or could take a guess at whats wrong?

Do you have a spare video card, RAM, Power Supply or CPU to rule those out? I would guess it could realistically be any one of those.

When the computer does work, is there any issues during the use of it?
