PC or Console gaming?

Hey, first of all i apologize for my bad English, im from Denmark :)

Ok, i wonder if i should do pc or console gaming, i alredy got an slim PS3.

So should i upgrade my pc and do pc gaming, or should i buy games for my PS3? I'm only 12 years old, so i only got 698,90 USD :(

I really want to do pc gaming, and upgrade my pc so i can play for example Watch Dogs

PC gaming is superior in most if not all aspects. But, it is more costly due to parts.

You already got the PS3, could always build up the computer and do both unless you really need $700 in PS3 games.

Also, do u guys think that new games such as Watch Dogs is going to lag on PS3, cuz' some games like GTA 4 lags sometimes at PS3 and Watch Dogs seems to require a lot. And is it worth uprading to the PS4 when launched?

Sell your PS3 and all your games to Gamestop. You'll have around $850 then.

You can easily build a nice PC for $650.  Check out Logan's videos on build a PC, I'm pretty sure he has at least one for $600.  Use that as a reference when buying parts.  PS3 is about to be replaced for PS4, so it's unlikely that you'll see many new games being made for it in the next year.  PC is always going to have the newest games released for it, and you'll be able to run them at higher resolutions and higher frame rates, even if you only spend about $650 on the computer.  So go PC gaming!

Well sir, you had more than me when I started building my PC. I took out a thousand dollar loan XD. I think the sooner you upgrade to PC the better. That way you can start building a good steam library.

I game on both there all fun... hell i even still brake out my N64 and amiga 1200 for a game of golden eye/ruff and tumble xD

sell the ps3, save money for a month, and you could have $1,000 to build a really nice computer. I made the switch from console gaming to PC gaming and I've never looked back. Also, hardware culture is something console's can't even touch. PC gamers have a lot more to be invested in and passionate about when it comes to their rig, so the research is FUN.

Bottom line, PC gaming is more FUN than console gaming.

^^^ Ok 2 things wrong there you do not need $1000 to build a gameing pc and you cant say one gaming platform is more fun than anuther platform.

and as you can see your motherboard is limited to what you can upgrade too ram and cpu wise.... also if you want to overclock well errr the mobo most likely wont like it or does'nt even have support for it on a bios level.

if i were you i would build a balling "barebones machine" then sell your ps3 and old pc, and use the money from that to drop a balling graphics card of choice into it.
