Hey Everyone,
I want to help a friend of mine overclocking his new machine, and i was wondering what software should we use to monitor the CPU, GPU, fans, and all that stuff. Free software would be nice :)
Thanks in advance :)

You will need different software for each component.
GPU's: GPU-Z from techpowerup http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/
CPU: I use Core Temp for temperatures and CPU-Z for real-time statistics http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html and http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/
Fans: SpeedFan http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
Disk Drives: http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskInfo/index-e.html
RAM: http://www.pcwintech.com/cleanmem use the mini monitor
You could also use all around monitoring software like Everest and OCCT, but I always had luck using individual monitoring for each component that I use, especially when overclocking. OCCT link here http://www.ocbase.com/ HWinfo64 for 64-bit and HWinfo32 for 32-bit OS are great too, you could try those.
Good luck overclocking and happy holidays
Thank you very much kindy sir :)
Happy holidays for you too and all the people in the forum!
Open Hardware Monitor is also a good choice.
MSI Afterburner will allow you to tack most of this stuff in game on an OSD if you don't have a second monitor.
You could use SpeedFan. It will show you your GPU temp and fan speed as well as the temps on your MB and your other fan speeds. I cant figure out how to make it recognize which temp the CPU is though. I am guessing that it is Temp 3 for me.
EDIT: Stupid me, I did not see it listed in the first comment. Whoops.
