I just wanted to ask if you guys have any alternative gamepads for the pc. I don't mean to insult the glorious pc gaming master race. It's just I got dark souls and I want to live as much as possible.
Would also be interested if you guys know any good racing wheels?
i've tried x-input emulators and other controllers, but in the end all the hassle and all the problems just got too annoying and i dropped $80 on a wireless setup
How dare you insinuate that PC Gamers use those....oh uh,
*ahem*
I'm a bit of a logitech fan so, if you dont mind the PS controller style, the F310 is a decent controller with both direct AND Xinput drivers built into it. I have several console to PC ports that are particular with the 360 and I've had zero problems.
Plus, it'll only run you from 18-30 bucks depending without you spend that 50 or so dollars the microsoft controllers can run ya. Though, like anyone else on here, it's all preference so give it a thought.
Nice post, I was looking into gamepads as well. hmmm.. I was wondering, I have the X32's from turtle beach and I haven't been able to use the mic since I sold my xbox. If I get a wired 360 controller would I be able to start using the mic again by just plugging it into the microphone port on the controller?
I was going to go for the f310's that sindwulf suggested but if I can get the mic on my turtle beaches working with the 360 controller, I think I'll go for the 360. Plus i'm used to the 360 controller, being that that's what I used to game on.
I really appreciate the feedback here. Oh, and it would be great to keep this thread going because even though the community here I feel is predominantly PC we all understand that gamepads aren't bad at all for some games. We could expand this thread to talk also about other controllers like I was wondering what a good controller for mechwarrior online would be?
