I am looking to build a PC after i had just sold my PS4. I have a budget of $650 and i'm looking to get the most out of my money.
Here are a couple that two of my friend suggested. Are these any good? If so which one is better. If you don't think these are any good please feel free to share what you would do if you were me.
The first build is laughable. Pentium CPU with that powerful graphics card... No. The 6300 with 280 is the sweet spot. You can try finding 8320 and try to find 280 both on sale or something... But yes, 6300 and 280 is great option... 285 being better option for Mantle and True Audio and stuff...
This is a good build, but I would try to fit a 8320/8320E into the budget. This thing would last longer. But I have the 6300 myself, I can recommend it, but 8320 is better.
It hasnt yet, which is frustrating as hell since I've been helping a friend put together a build that will use the 860k. Supposedly it will be out by the end of September/ beginning of October.
@ DK .... WD compared to Seagate is a minor variable in the overall scheme.
However after further thought ...I do have issue with the 97 series mobo ... and I believe this final offering is bare minimum for a somewhat future proof gamer in this platform. And it will not need big ticket purchases to stay relevant within a few years. With very light cutting of any important corners. Quality components with the possible exception for the case. The PSU has headroom for adding storage and an SSD in the future. It would make an excellent entry level gamer.

yes but he is $37 over budget using sub standard PSU and mobo is a 97 series instead of a fx99 ... so at $65 over with superior quality parts ... making my last entry is the logical choice.
and DerKriegers build included an OS othewise he could have achieved optimal specs while staying in budget. (with the exception of the 97 series mobo)
