I been thinking of building a PC. I`ve got the parts all picked out and I was wanting some thoughts on the parts. This is a list of the parts:

I was first going to build it without the gpu and then buy it later when i get the money.
A quick glance and I can tell you to get different ram. Get a 2 stick set (2x4gb for 8gb) so it an run in dual channel. Buy it as a set. For that $76 you can get a set that will keep you in budget.
p.s. I know money is tight nowadays but it pains me to see a build without an ssd.
No point of getting a Z97 board with an i3.
This would be more powerful at a cheaper price.

I put this together: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/NDbzhM
Highlights:
- includes SSD for speed
- more powerful CPU
- more powerful GPU
- 2 sticks of ram for better speed
- added a case (small-ish form factor)
- changed motherboard to reliable cheaper option
Similar to Sometechnoob, but changed some option for intel NIC, SSD for OS and a smaller case.
For a little more (around 750) I would save a little more and go with this http://www.amazon.com/750ish-build/lm/RPUP5OZGUJCTF/?_encoding=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&linkCode=ur2&tag=jaydstor03-20&linkId=HGL6QLTFONB3OXYS
if you don't like amazon sorry I love it.
You get a better cpu and the a good gpu that still performs well and you can put that money in other things and bring the performance up. You can get a ssd that will make you live the master race life and still have a 1tb magnetic drive for storage. this is a first time build that you can upgrade and keep for a long time with little upgrades.
