PC Build

Hello. im building a new pc and was hoping for some input. im planning, so far, an AMD FX-8350 Vishera, MSI 990 FXA-GD80 V2, and an MSI N760 TF. Not sure about power supply, harddrive, etc. does this sound like it will be a good streaming/gaming pc for a few years? im still running an AMD Atholon 64 X2 4400+, though it does have 64 bit windows 7 and 4 whole gigs of memory, and a 460 gtx.

FX-8350 Vishera + MSI 990 FXA-GD80 V2 work well I had that mobo and sold it for the sabertooth 990fx r2 I needed Firewire and wanted the extra 3gbs sata ports but I really liked the bios on the msi and some of its features like winki its a very good board fro your PSU and other hardware I need to know your Budget

8350 is an excellent chip for steaming/gaming.

Its only going to get better as those "next gen" consoles are going to be optimised for 6/8 cores so expect better performance in future games.

I use the term next gen loosely its like our last gen

Yeah ive had the mindset ever since AMD won the contract to supply both sony and microsoft :)

hell when a eurogamer survey asked the heads of top game development companies what their choice of chip would be they all chose the 8350 over the intels :D

trying to keep the cost down, but dont wanna cheap out on the rest and hurt performance of the system. the motherboard and prcessor are actually pretty reasonable for cost though. i do have Corsair Vengeance 16g (4x4gd) 1600 blue memory as well, but might sell it for some faster memory too. got it for really cheap though, like $40 so idk. not trying to build the fastest or baddest pc, but for another $500-$600 i should be able to buy the rest of the things i need to finish the tower. mostly looking for a solid power supply, probably an ssd and a big standard drive for media storage.
