PC Build w/cheap but good proccesor

I just ordered parts for my main build, and I have been doing upgrading along the way. I found myself practically building new pc. So I was going to build the other one to sell and need some help.

The parts I currently have

  • AM3 + Motherboard (ASRockN68-VS3 FX)
  • 8GB of 1333MHz Ram
  • GT 520 Graphics Card (Might wanna use in my main build for secondary monitor)
  • NZXT Gamma Case
  • 480W PSU (non-modular)

I obviously need a proccessor,HDD, and possibly DVD Drive.

My question is what do you think would be a good choice of proccessor,HDD, and I was considering getting a blu ray for my main rig and just using my old one in this machine to sell.

Thanks for your time!

for the procesor just get an amd either the a10 one logan put in his $350 vid or the fx6300 or the 4000(cant remember exact name ) for the hdd get a western digital blue or a seagate barracuda and u will prob want to upgrade that gpu to a radeon 7850,7870 or if u have the money a 7950 or a gtx 660 as for the optical drive it doesnt matter as long as it works :)

If you can find a cheap, used Phenom x6 1100T and Geforce GTX 560 Ti then plug in either a last-gen SSD like Samsung 830 or Crucial M4, it'll be a pretty good gaming rig that may sell for a decent amount if you can find a buyer.

why a 560 a 7850 beats it

unless you watch alot of blu-ray, it's not worth it to get a blu-ray player. dvd burners can still be useful, especially if you have older games, or other stuff that comes on cd or dvd

and the pross you want is the fx-6300

get a 7770 ghz gpu or a 7850

apu's are socket FM1 or FM2, fx-series is AM3+, phenoms and athlons are AM3 or AM3+

an apu will NOT work in an AM3+ socket

amd phenom 965 is awesome bang for the buckeroo and a 7870 or 7850 would work perfect because amds new drivers are da bes

I just finished building a new system with the FX6300 and it works like a charm. The CPU was $139.00 Canadian. You cannot get better for the price in my opinion.

In my main rig I am using a GTX560Ti Limited Edition and have a water cooled FX-4100. Sounds like I should just finish upgrading my main rig and use my old parts in this new one im building.
