PC Build (Suggestions?)

Any suggestions on my new build? Budget~$1300

Case- Fractal Design Define R5
Mother Board- MSI ATX DDR3 LGA 1150 Z97-G45
Video Card- Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming
Hard Drive- Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 7200rpm
Processor- i5-4690k 3.5 GHz
Ram-Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB 1866
Power Supply- EVGA SuperNOVA 650G1 650W
CPU Cooler- Corsair Hydro Liquid CPU Cooler H100i
Extra Fans- 2 NZXT 140mm Case Fans

I have two main suggestions. First, unless you are planning to do something like SLI or crossfire go with a MicroATX case and motherboard (it will take up less space and the parts are sometimes cheaper). Second, unless you want to do a high overclock, I would go with high quality air cooling instead of water cooling (I found it to be quieter and less of a hastle while still allowing me to overclock). The savings from these suggestions can be used to add some SSD storage and additional HDD storage.

With these things in mind, here is my suggested build for your ~$1300:

You will need to remove the top HDD cage in the case to fit the GPU, but this shouldn't be an issue and it will give you better airflow. For your operating system you may wish to consider Linux as it is free and many games are available for it.

Hope these ideas help, and good luck with the build.

I have this board.
Why did you choose it over others?
Do you plan to go SLI?
Do you need mSATA? (If you use this, one of your SATA ports won't be usable FYI)

Do you know of any other motherboards in that price range for my build?

There'll be a metric shit tonne for less on Z97, it depends what you want out of the thing (SLI support, mSATA etc as previously mentioned).
