My first post I'm building a basic use PC for a friend all he wants to do is play minecraft TF2 gmod facebook youtube just wondering if there is anything I could change to make it a bit cheaper he's on a tight budget and $300 is the max heres a list i've made of the parts

Cpu AMD A6-5400k

Ram 2x2Gb DDR3 1866 Crucial Ballistix

Mobo MSI FM2-A75MA-E35

Hdd 500gb seagate 7200rpm drive

Case Rosewill LINE-m matx case

PSU i have a Corsair CX430 430w I have lying around and no use for so that saves $40

Wifi card Rosewill 802.11/b/g/n pcie

Is there anytihng I could do better like get 8gb ram while staying under $300

Should be a nice little system. I guess if there is a good deal on an a8 get that instead. It would help your frame rate as well since the integrated graphics performs better on the a8. I wouldnt be too worried about the ram, just make sure you dont have to many things open at the same time. Fast memory is a must though with these apu's!

Thanks i'll see if I can get an a8 for cheap somewhere else other than newegg

also, maybe get one 4gb stick instead of two 2gb sticks. makes it easier to upgrade to 8gb later on, just grab another one of the 4gb sticks.
