PC build check for bottle-necking and other... :)

Hey guys!

I don't know when I'll be building this... :)

I plan on using this for regular home use, media pc, lite-gaming pc, and LAN party pc. So, I'm trying to go light, quiet, and cool... I mean cool as in temp... :P

My budget is around ~$1200-$1700... :)

I have a 650W non-modular 80+ bronze antec ea-650 green ps just laying around that I'll be using. According to all the reviews I've seen on youtube for the case, the biggest ps you can fit in there is 7"... The 650W ps is about 6.25"... So I should be good... :)

Just checking for bottle-necks and the like... :D

I will not be overclocking this... :P

Here's the build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Robotob46/saved/1gwY

Oh, by the way... I am trying to keep this build color coordinated... :P

The only thing I dont like is the slower ram, but no, there will be no bottle-necking to be found here.

Ah... Thanks!

What RAM do you suggest? I'm open! :)

RAM is much better and like, the same price :D

The motherboard's highest ram speed that it supports is ddr3-1600... Can you go higher with the ram speed and not run into stabilty problems?

Just added some different ram which I think is a happy medium... :)

one question do you really need a wi-fi board? on a h77 chipset...

I know you're shoving all of this into a cramped hot box, but is there a reason why you don't want a Z77 chipset + K processor?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/M9pu (it's pretty much the same price...)

Also. How well a power supply will work for a build should not be based on just the physical size...

The reason I went with the h77 chipset is because I do not plan to overclock this build... The reason I went with a wifi board is so that I don't have to worry about an external usb wifi dongle... How's that for an answer? :P

The bitfenix prodigy black is actually a relatively cool (temp and looks... :P) case. The reason I don't go with the z77 chipset + k processor is because I don't plan on overclocking... And they are less expensive... :P I was just putting the size there so that people wouldn't freak out about "Is your ps to big?!?!?". :D It is a 80+ bronze rated... And it happens to be laying around doing nothing... So I thought I would use it in this build... :P

fair enough but plans change, and tbh i would go with secrets authors build, its like just under $20 more....

and you have the freedom to do more.... it just makes sense, trust overclocking is no big deal. it's quite easy.
