Okay so I got payday 2 and really wanted to play it. I also have an Asus VG-24q8e 144hz monitor (I think that's the name) And I like started playing payday and it looks absolutely terrible. I did some tweaks and installed a 144hz refresh rate mod. But it doesn't cap. Anyway. I was told to turn on vsync on in the nvidia control panel but it limited me to 60fps, It looked decent, But I think anyone with a 144hz monitor knows this struggle. Is there any external way to cap it at something like 100fps to stop this tearing or am I just going to have to deal with it and possibly rip my eyes out?
set vsync off in the game and try adaptive vsync in the nvidia control panel.
You need to buy the Super Optimized Game Performance DLC.
Download some more ram while you are at it.
But seriously, don't do this to the poor kid.

I'm sorry but I think sarcastic honesty is the best suggestion I could make. Payday 2 used to be a good game until Overkill Studios decided to Overkill their own community.
