Yeah, I’m following pretty much all the “best practice” recommendations.
Might try isolcpus at a later time.

I’m curious: can I see your XML?
I have a lot more stuff in my hyperv enhancements than you. Might be worth trying some of them out: http://ix.io/1ME1
Also, my friend’s XML (who I basically copied): https://clbin.com/uw5dp
Damn, that is a lot of flags.
Yeah, I didn’t need them until I tried vcpupin in conjunction with cpuisol. Then they became necessary for some reason. As well as <ioapic driver='kvm'/>
and <type arch='x86_64' machine='pc-q35-4.0'>hvm</type>
Yeah, I need to upgrade my qemu, but I’m having trouble finding an up-to-date package for Fedora. might have to go ahead and build it myself
For me I didn’t get any package, I just changed the line and it worked. Then again, I’m on the best Linux distro ever. Oh, btw, I use Arch
Every helpdesk thread somehow becomes an ad for Arch.
haha I wonder why
It’s a good distro, I just need my main workstation to stay in the RHEL world due to work.
Okay, yeah, tomorrow I’ll be packaging qemu 4.0 for FC29.
