Not sure if this is a tutorial, or build log. If the former, just no - there are much better parts for the money, particularly where the RAM and GPU are concerned.
If the latter, congrats on the build.
To me it sounds like the OP has made a list that he/she recommends for a console killer?
If that's right, like jerm1027 said, no. That might kill a console from 2001, but we're now in a different decade now.
RAM Addition: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3-1600 (37.99 @ Newegg)
ehh, why?
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GT 610 2GB (47.98 @ Newegg [$10.00 Mail and Rebate])
lol what even
I think he got a bit muddled up with which console he is trying to kill, maybe he thought it was the PS2 instead of PS4.
Err nope, with that gpu you might not even be able to start a current AAA title.
For 550 bucks id probably build something like this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3zmbP ,
though it is much more viable to use an old copy of vista or something off ebay to save cost.
Ok, if you got 550 don't get a ssd. Dont spend 1/5th of your money on a small storage device. Sure its fast, but not worth it at all. heres a much better option: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3zoVi
Alright, I think I fixed it. Check this out: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/GamingPCBuilder13/saved/4uHl
Fixed it, I think. Check it out for me: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/GamingPCBuilder13/saved/4uHl
Now that is Console killer :).. either that or 750ti instead of 260x
