Partitioning mSATA for dual booting

I am planning on buying a laptop with a 250GB mSATA drive and a 1TB 5400rpm HDD and i'm wanting to partition the mSATA drive down the middle (125GB W8 and 125GB linux) for dual booting. I am also planning on partitioning the 1TB for each OS as the storage. I have never dealt with a mSATA so I was wondering if there is an issue with partitioning them or if dual booting from a mSATA is not a good idea. I have googled, but usually find others talking about running one OS from the mSATA and the other from another SSD, but i was hoping since the mSATA is large enough I can just use it as the boot drive for both OS(s).

Any advice is appreciated.

Should be the same as partitioning any other hard drive.

Ok、Thank you.
