Partitioned HDD. With new mobo. Will everyhting be OK?

My boot OS partition, and two other partitions are on an old seagate momentus (please don't judge me). I'm sure there's no pproblem but on my new mobo I only see the HDD listed. None of the partitions. Will everything work out? If I have to get my old mobo back I'm fine. But I have many old family photos on the 3rd patition that would result in my death if I lost them.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Motherboards only detect physical disks, not the partitions. Once you get in to windows everything will still be there.

Thanks

What's wrong with Seagate? Mine are still working fine. Except the ones dying of old age of course, but other hdd's also die of old age so that's nothing special oO

Did the hate go from Maxtor to Seagate? (And the only Maxtor I had got thrown on the floor by our cleaning lady after I had it a year - though obviously she knew nothing -.-)

If it's old -like you say- you might start thinking about backing up the stuff that you don't want to lose...

I've found nothing wrong with it. It tends to get fragmented faster. Possibly due to the hybrid design. But it's quiet, and it gives me a decent boot speed of about 12 seconds. Which is lovely, as that's exactly the right amount of time for me to turn on the screens, take my headset out of my backpack, hang m backpack on the peg, and plug m headset in. If I go fast, I even have enough time to take a slurp from a water bottle.
