is there a modular option for that? It's not absolutely necessary but I'd prefer it.

Upfront costs are a bit more than the previous PSU; however, Newegg cuts the price down considerably with a promo code and MIR.

This is a 2 year old thread.

As for the PSU, It's not in my personal system, but I can confidently stand by this unit's reliability and performance. It's manufactured by SeaSonic, 80+ bronze certified, and uses a strong single 12v rail. One of the best power supplies on the market.
