Starting a new custom loop project and was wondering if anyone has done a parallel configuration with a 295x2 and a 290x. I've done (and perfere) a parallel configuration with multiple cards of the same model many times but the 295x2 is a different beast. The fluid dynamics as they are I think it will be better than a series configuration as I really don't want the water to be heated that much before it hits the third GPU. Here's some details before I get asked, Amd 9590, Asus crosshair formula z xfx 295x2, xfx 290x, 32gb ram. Ek CPU block, ek 295x2 block, ek 290x block, ek mono block, ek ram blocks(monarch series), Alphacool monsta 480 (80mm), Alphacool 480 (60mm), bits power z tank 300mm, 8 ek vadar 2200rpm fans, 2 custom d5 pumps in series (single loop), and 12/16mm hard tubing. Again this isn't my first rodeo, and yes I realize the water temp will even out with extended use. But, I would like to know if anyone has experience with water cooling those two cards together specifically. Thanks in advance!
