Today I take a quick look at the Bitfenix Pandora ATX -- This Steel-and-plastic case replaces the cherished MicroATX. Bitfenix has taken some extra time to get the formula right when moving from MicroATX to ATX and the thoughtfulness in that transition is appreciated by this reviewer.
I am curious to hear from anyone that has picked up one of these cases what your thoughts are! Let me know in the comments below.
Well, I do understand the top filter, because when it's not running that is where the dust will enter. So it is nice that they have also thought of that. I really love the looks of the Pandora. Guess it's time to start saving up
You mention top air in-take instead of exhaust.... and that is the exact setup I have been running for about 5 or so years now so that I end up with a positive air pressure.
Well, this is a mixture of the old TT Armor Jr (the looks) and the new NZXT/Phanteks cases... Not to say that it is a bad thing, though design-wise there could be a bit more innovation. I don't own this case, although I do have the H440 and I'm quite happy with it. The only thing that could be better is the ventilation - using the top exhaust (CM Nepton 280L), front and back intakes, my default-clocked 5820k is always around 30-40 C on idle in closed case with 22-25 C room temps... Although I suspect the Nepton is the main culprit for that...
