Hey guys, as you may well know by my posts by now, I’m not currently working, money is tight, real world problems, blah blah blah. That was the genesis of this idea, but it spiraled out from there into a sort of service idea/business from home maybe? I would like to use packet radio and a multi HDD home storage solution for storing and forwarding emails for people in remote areas or in an emergency/ grid down sort of situation. Obviously the drives need to be encrypted for privacy, but I’m not really interested in that at the moment, that’s down the road. Anyone know about either 10-15 year old packet radio equipment (so that it’s cheap) but is good quality from a secondhand site like eBay, or whatever? Also what would I need to make this idea work in a technical manner?
