Owncloud, gallery with comments, is there such a thing?

I'm trying owncloud, it's nice and easy to setup.

One thing I thought would be easy to setup is enabling comments on files, particularly images (photos), via the web interface.

But it seems that on 8.2 there doesn't seem to be an existing 'app' to do that. Just wondering if anyone here has done something similar or had a workaround or knows of something I must have missed?

I have seen things for older versions of own cloud and I have seen instructions on hacking bit's of php to get it working in 8.2 but it feels like a massive kludge and probably wouldn't work well.

So there aren't any olugins for it yet?

This is why I don't uodate mine until the plugins I use have be updated as well.

@Eden Looks like mediagoblin does what I want in this case.

Unfortunately, I also want to use some of the dropbox like functionality of owncloud, and some of it's other apps. so I'll stick with that for now even if I don't have the convenience of commenting on files. But mediagoblin looks like something I'll check out one day.

@Quixotic_Autocrat I didn't see plugins that worked on 8.x versions of owncloud. I've only just started using owncloud.

From my digging it looks like comments on files is a feature that got pulled because of a feature freeze and from an issue tracker comment I saw somewhere it said that functionality will be added to version 9. Damn.
