I've recently been having some trouble with ping in OW (Australia). Before 2 weeks ago, it was totally fine (around 40ms per game) but now I'm getting in excess of 500ms!
Have tried some other fixes/diagnostics i.e. restarting client, checking ping in other games, setting an extra command line in the settings
OnlineService.Matchmaking.ServerPool=AU1
Anyone else been having issues? I think I might be defaulting to the US servers for some reason.

You tried the Blizzard forums, to see if anyone else is having issues in your area?
What's your internet speed though?
The connection seems fine, I was more wondering if anyone else has been having this issue.

Maybe use portfowarding? It seems old fashion thing to do but it's also worth a try.
You have a decent ping but the upload speed seems pretty limited. I've been experiencing more ping issues recently in Overwatch, but it's not constant. And you can often hear my HDD whirring away while the ping gets high and I have discovered that Windows is constantly downloading its shitty updates while I'm playing. So it might not be anything you're doing, but as always, check that steam isn't downloading, or check that nobody else in the house is streaming videos, but your download seems fine to me. It might be, however, that Windows is naturally prioritising its updates and reducing your response times during gameplay.
