I have a straight I7 870 and i would like to overclock. I was wondering if it is possible and if so what and how do i do it (i've never overclock before). i have an aftermarket thermake heat sink with one 120mm fan and large heat fins, and a 750 watt thermake power supply. All i would like is a slight overclock nothing major just something to boost the performance a little bit.
That processor is not one that is unlocked. Unlocked processors will overclock with the right motherboard, with non-unlocked(non-k) I doubt it.
