ok i have bought GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3+ - GA-970A-DS3 (rev. 1.1)

and i am using AMD FX 8350 with it

so do u recommend i should overclock on this motherboard ?

as logan once in some vedio said u will get similar performance on any 80 or 90 $

motherboard if ur not overclocking

so should i change the motherboard if overclocking ?

and what do u think about uefi bios is it any better for overclocking and non touch pc ?

and should i change my power supply also  i am using Thunder 500W - Cooler Master?

 Definitely not. That VRM can not handle any OCing at all.

vrm -,- ?? do u mean motherboard or psu ? 

and how did u came to an conclusion  that it does not support overclocking ?

Its on your Motherboard https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voltage_regulator_module

But as above, the GA-970A-DS3 VRM is 4+1 Phase and not Heatsinked, so its highly recommended not to OC with this board.

can not i just buy a high end after market cooler for processor and overclock ?

The VRM is part of your motherboard.....getting a after market cooler for processor will do nothing to cool the VRM.

They guy saying you can’t OC this MB is an idiot!
I realize this is an old post, BUT I ran across it and it literally bout made me PUKE!
Yes, non synced VRM’s (chips along left of cpu exposed) can EASILY hand 4200Mhz with your 8350, I am benched well above an OC’d 8350 with my 8300 on EXACT MB and highest loaded VRM temp’s are 49 degrees C
You can also make a sync and attach with a special 2 sided molding tape like GM uses on their vehicles, but unless you are going for crazy speeds, it is NOT required!
I am NOT fond of people who answer like that with “NO” when it is done and posts are ALL over the internet.
