Outlook Sent Mails Stuck At Outbox

A few days ago a friend of mine asked for help because she couldn't send or receive e-mails in outlook.

I contacted the mail provider and re-did the settings.It didn't work.

I resetted the router and configured the connection the way isp told me.Now she can receive e-mails but the sent mails are still stuck in outbox.The size of the e-mail or if it is with an attachment or not doesn't seem to matter.

I repaired the pst and ost files with scanpst.exe and deleted the srs file in roaming appdata.That didn't solve it as well.

What else can i do ? I don't want to reinstall outlook :)

Solved it.

The geniouses at the mail providers customer support gave the wrong port number -.-

This may happen because of the large attachment.
To fix this follow the below steps:

1. Click on Send/Receive then Work Offline.
2. In the navigation, pane Click Outbox and Drag the message in your Draft folder.
3. Then Double Click to open the message, from here you can delete the attachment.
