I was thinking you could name it "NAStro Boy"

Maybe you could call it the NASter Blaster.

In what configuration are you running the drives and how much performance are you getting out of it?
Is SMB multichannel already working in Freenas? It supports the 3.00 dialect but I could not get it to work.

Hello Internet. Can anyone please tell me where can I find that amazing wallpaper Logan has on the PC and laptop behind him?

You can fill it all over again...

Probably RAID 5

Nasfera2?

Also I think Wendell had mentioned another name for a NAS in one of the TEKs, that made me laugh so hard I nearly coughed up a lung.

No they are using Freenas so it is technical not RAID 5 but RAID Z1 wich has 1 parity bit just like RAID 5.
But I would not be surprised if it is RAID Z2 because they had 2 drives fail at the same time in the old NAS which was very difficult to recover and RAID Z2 can handle that without any problems.

NAStromo's a pretty cool name! I'd go for it.

True. Yeah It would make sense to have the second parity. They could also be doing a nested RAID like a striped RAIDZ2

Nice case but damn... $190 for something that is gonna go in my closet and hopefully never be seen again. IDK if I could justify that. Lian Li has some decent stuff but it is overpriced IMO.
