OS on SSD with HDD for Storage/Application Optimization Tips

Basically it says it all in the Subject. I just installed Windows 8.1 onto my 240 GB SSD and have a 2 TB HDD that I want to keep all of my extra files/programs on.

Does anyone have any tips or experiences that worked best? I moved all of my "Libraries" over to the HDD, but I heard there are things like appdata that can eat up space on the SSD. What should I move over to HDD to ensure this wont happen?

Thanks

That is probably not going to happen with a 240 GB SSD. I've moved appdata over to a different hard drive before, I think it was quite easy. Moving a user profile over to another hard drive was a nightmare, and I only achieved that on windows 7. I only did that because the SSD was 60GB. I use my laptop with a 120GB SSD and I've always got enough space.

Pretty much just like you've done. Libraries, and install new software to the hard drive. I personally would fill up my SSD with programs and stuff first and leave like 20-30GB free, but that is just me. My current set up is a bit different though, in that everything is installed on SSD's.
