It is more like a "metroidvania" platform style game. But is amazing. You can not find a single tile texture in the entire game. Beautiful game ! If you can, play it!

Ori and Child of Light have both been on my "buy when they hit the sales" list - I recently picked up child of light, and hope this lowers price over the summer. It just doesn't hit me as a £15 game.
This game is too good at hitting you right in the emotions and the animations and small details that the devs put work into are on a godly level. I've already decided to definitely support these devs.

Yes I have played this, it is the best sidescroller I have ever played to be honest. The soundtrack is amazing and the story will hit you right in the feels over and over until you are on the ground gasping for air.
