Optical Mice. Holy Crap

So, I'm going to try my best to not fanboy too hard, but I just got a Mionix Avior 7000 from a deal on Massdrop, and I set it up last night and played some Diablo 3 with my girlfriend and her brother. It replaced a SteelSeries Sensei that I've had for a while and while I really enjoyed using it, I had ENDLESS problems with SteelSeries Engine that drove me insane. I was curious about the hype gamers give optical sensors  for their zero acceleration and accuracy, and I massdrop had them for 33% off, so I jumped at it.

I had no idea what a difference it made. This mouse has completely ruined laser gaming mice for me. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Maybe not a night and day difference type of thing but I have always preferred optical over laser. No one needs 8 bazillion DPI

I have an AVIOR 7000, and I have to agree. It's most definitely a night and day difference.

I thought the optical sensor in my old Logitech M120 (it costs £5) was superior to the laser sensor in the M65 that I had tried. It's THAT noticeable.
