Optic Nerve Ethics

Logan,

I recently completed an assignment for my degree which focused on the spy program Optic Nerve, used by British intelligence agency GCHQ. One of the questions in the report was "If you were tasked with enabling clandestine access to others' sensitive and restricted data what would you do?" (This is from a Project Manager's perspective).

This was one of the final questions and I found it interesting that they were asking for a student's subjective opinion.

I am interested as to what position you would take if this situation was presented to you in your professional line of work. Would you feel compelled to complete this task? Or would you refuse entirely?
