Oppo Find 7

I dunno if anyone has heard, but the Find 7 was revealed last night.

  • Display: 5.5" 2560x1440 (2.5K), ~538 ppi
  • Storage: 32 GB internal with a max of 64 GB microSD card.
  • RAM: 3 GB
  • Back Camera: 13 MP, 4128 x 3096 Capable of capturing 4K video and image, and the ability to produce 50 MP images by taking 10 rapid pictures and combing them together. It can also output images in RAW format.
  • Front Camera: 5MP
  • CPU: Snapdragon 801
  • GPU: Adreno 330
  • OS: Android 4.3, but soon to get an update
  • Battery: 3000 mAh

The body is made out of steel and carbon fiber. Needless to say this phone is a beast. A few things to mention are that you can charge the phone form 0% to 75% in 30 minutes, and it comes with MaxxAudio (sound enhancement).

I do not know the pricing as of yet, but it will be decently priced as all of their other phones have. I may get this if I can afford it, I would love to have that 1440p screen.. Just think, iPhone users will never know these joys. Enjoy your 640p screen and 326 ppi.

Here is a nice hands on video.

Looks pretty nice. I have an Oppo Blu-Ray player that rocks. Oppo has been doing a good job not overly locking down their phones. Also the android modifications are minimum.

It is great to see a Chinese company with this level of quality.

Damn, I would love to own this device, I just don't have the money to fork over for such a product, I am predicting anywhere from $799-$999 USD for this device. They say it will be available in all markets but hopefully the phone will be subsidized to at least $200-$300 USD.

Oppo seems to have a good working relationship with cyangonmod guys as well.

Apparently it is going to be about $565-$599 on the off-contract price tag.

"Oppo is pricing the QHD Find 7 at 3,498 CNY, which roughly equals 565 USD"

This phone comes with CM11 pre-installed.

As of right now only the Oppo N1 comes with Cyanogemod, though I am sure the Find 7 will make its make to the ranks as well.

wow, kinda wish i had waited. oh well, pretty happy with my note3
