Hello , with this build I plan to play games at 1080p :
Hard-Disk: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB SATA3 64MB Headset: Genius HS-G500V Mouse: Dragon War Leviathan ELE-G1 Keyboard: Newmen E869 Monitor: LED LG 22MP55HQ CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 Case:DeepCool TESSERACT BF PSU:Corsair NEW VS Series VS650, 650W Ram: Kingston DDR3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600MHz CL9 HyperX Savage Motherboard: Asrock H97M Anniversary GPU: MSI Radeon R9 390 8GB GDDR5 512-bit [Gaming OC, Twin Frozr V] I know the R9 390 is Overkill but I plan to keep it for 3-4 years , so I chose it over the 970 as the R9 390 is slightly better even atm . So what do you think about this build?
So I made a pcpartpicker for your build. I couldnt find the peripherals you listed, so that is up to everyone to look up. In USD the price is about $850, but I dont know how much it will be in your country. I would say to try to get an SSD in there if you can, and maybe one of the I-7 parts. Also if you want a cpu cooler the Hyper 212 Evo is Great for the price.
What you listed there is more than 1050 dollars in my country , which sucks , and that means after I add the periferals I won't be able to get an SSD -_- , prices are outrageous in my country ..
not knowing your country nor your budget, everything seems to be compatible and will pair rather nicely, and i don't see any massive issues to be worried about. but if you can squeeze any more from your budget you'll like a 212 evo fan over the stock cooling for when you get into those long intense sessions it will keep everything a rather nice 40-50c
sorry did forget, that a 212 evo here is only like $20-25 on sale, and is generally quieter and will keep the temps about 20 degrees cooler leading to a longer life on the cpu, and the evo is robust enough to last through a few pc's, so it is a cheap logical progression when upgrading a PC.
However is it needed? nope. Will it increase your performance? nope. Isn't a stock cooler just good enough? yes it is.
I digress, It is a matter of personal opinion when it comes to cooling non-OC'ed CPU's. I choose to have one because of it's quieter nature and that it lends itself to a healthier cpu life span, and while not necessarily needed, i just wanted to bring your attention to the issue.
It all looks good hardware wise, the peripherals are personal choice.
Quick points, my Tesseract case came with some of the spacers pre inserted for ATX, and your mobo is an Matx, so you will need to swap those around, and also pop out the metal blanks out of the rear panel where the graphics card go before you drop in your MOBO because they are stamped and not easily removable when your with your mobo in place.
Also you will not be able to fit a disk drive in the top 5 1/4 bay because of the front io's wires run through it, it's probably not going to be a problem for you but it is a nice to know kind of thing. ohh and the power on light is about the brightest LED i have seen in a few years, i used it as a spot light for an airplane model i hung from the ceiling , yeah it is bright. i digress it is a fantastic case and i love it.
Well , the site I am going to buy it from assembles the PC for free if you want and they're going to contact the customer (Me ) if something goes wrong , so I think I am going to do that , as I don't want to fuck up things and for example destroy an expensive part . And there isn't a big difference between a micro ATX and a ATX motheboard , in performance that is , as I know the Micro ATX is smaller than the ATX .
Hmm , if I wanted to lower the price , would going for a B85 motherboard instead and a Sirtec EP-600 BR-II, 600W, 2x PCI-E 6+2, 6x SATA, 3x Molex [80 Plus Bronze] PSU make much difference ?
Going down to a B85 chip set, although an older chip set, as long as it has the features that you want, it would not make too much difference because your CPU is locked.
I don't see any screaming errors with the power Supply, about 600W is the minimum you will ever want to go with an AMD GPU, however because the PC would probably draw no more than 450W you should be fine to go with the 600W, you should be warned, that i have never heard of the brand nor can i read many of the reviews since i don't know Romanian, so i really cannot speak on the power supply itself.
Oh , I never thought that Sirtec is only sold in Romania , but I have my doubts now that you said it , so I think I will stick to Corsair , as the difference isn't big enough (In price ) .Also the only difference is that the Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H has 4 Sata 3 ports while the Asrock H97M Anniversary has 4 , and that B85 has Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) technology while the H97M has Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) 1.3 / 1.2 , is that a big difference ?
