Any opinions or tips? I want to make 100% sure I'm buying the best that I can get with the budget of $1750 in mind
with such a build why not a prodigy. Personally i think it looks great and has lots of room and im hoping to use one soon :)
Cheaper, and will give you the exact same performance http://pcpartpicker.com/p/vQrvqs
The cooler master cases are small, but a bit of a dust collector. This build is much more powerful for $1706.

And yes, the NH-D14 will fit...
This has a more powerful graphics card ( GTX 780 ti), far better overclocking options. 1 SSD for the OS and programs, 1 SSD for games, and HDD for backup and media. The 200mm fan is for the front of the case to keep the whole system cool. The powersupply has been upgraded as well incase you wanted to SLI for some reason.
The 780 TI will run any game you can throw at it on ultra settings and will keep you happy for 4 years. My GTX 285 kept me happy that long.
If you want portable and power, I would strongly recommend this.
Here is an i7 option.. but its minus the OS drive.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/yHwgQ7 I7 option but with the 780ti and a 240gb ssd :)
It's huge as hell for an ITX rig, and more expensive.
+1
Great build and awesome case.
Wow this is actually perfect. The only thing now is the $500 extra I have. Any suggested improvements or additions that could significantly improve performance?
That looks just about as good as it gets.
You might want to pick up a higher performance 120mm pwm fan as having a R9 290 in a small enclosure might cause the insides to be a little bit toasty.
Use it for something else maybe? For ex. buy yourself some nice peripherals if you don't have already :)
