Opinions on parts

I am building a pc for a friend and I am wanting to see if any one could see a problem with the build or see anything that could be made better, like if anyone sees anything that I am over looking like a missing part or a part that is within the same price range just better(just want another pair of eyes on this lol)

case: I have it, i don't like it - plenty of plastic... i hate it actually.
gpu: meh... not amd.
psu: good.
ram: only 1?
motherboard: the mobo seems kinda meh.
cpu: get a K version at very least.
hdd: what about ssd?

It's more or less on a budget and I already went over just a tad bit so that's why no ssd and why it's kind of a "meh" system right now. But no objections or problems seen so far?

the only thing I have to add is that an AMD R9 390 would probably be the better option in terms of graphics cards. It is equal in overall performance in DX11 and it is noticeable more powerful with all the DX12 games so far. Along with this in programs like adobe Premiere its OpenCL render capability is just as good as Nvidia's CUDA performance. so unless you have a specific task that is explicitly stated by the software maker to need the Nvidia option I would go with the AMD R9 390.

Why don't we all wait foe Computex? Nvidia is expected to unveil 1080 and 1070 in friday

So yea... AMD will unveil their new Polaris GPUs on Computex...
So why don't we all just wait for a month?

What budget? What resolution is he gaming at?

in any case a 390 would be faster, and you should step up to a 6500

And this would probably end up being my recommendation as new GPUs are coming in a few months anyways, and if he's only gaming at 1080p 60hz, then you really don't need the 390, maybe get a 380X

Also the powersupply is pretty overkill, and getting that motherboard with that CPU would be pointless, and paying extra for overclocking in general with skylake at least, really won't be worth it

She is going to be gaming at 1080p and the motherboard was because she is going to upgrade with some extra parts sooner rather than later, the power supply was because of the warranty and modularity, why was the motherboard pointless with that cpu? The bigger hdd was for shows, movies, games etc. And thank you for the recommended parts, I have changed some of them because of that! :D

Get yourself an SSD. Whatever you do... You don't need huge one. Small 120GB ssd is about 38$, only for OS, browsers, players, skype, etc...
Games and storage will be on the Hard drive, but the things, that need speed, like the OS, you will be happier with an SSD...
