I have had trouble finding anyform of a opensource BTlive and or sync alternative. I am much more interested in Live over sync, just because Live is still in closed beta and has been since 2011. The alternative live p2p streaming services I could find was Sopcast and ACEplayer. Neither are open source and I think it is essential for competition, if competition is a thing, to have open sourced alternatives. I am particularly looking for a service where I can stream content to a closed group of friends and we would stream the content we own to have say movie marathons, even when we are in different states or cities.
