So Razer have announced an Open Source VR headset. This is the second iteration of the product, imaginatively named OSVR.
The company, known for overpriced products, will offer this one for $399/£399...
It's screens are 2160x1200, will feature reprogramable accelerometer, gyroscope etc, and will work with steam VR.
The big negative is the lack of motion controllers, but being Open Source will allow it to work with third party products.

Now VR headset half the price of the Vive, priced similarly to the rift when paired with a GPU like the $200 RX 480... Shipping in August... This could be a game changer for VR..
So an actual decent product from Razer!? No way!
