[quote]To anyone that is having the problem of the 7.1 cables not being true 7.1, there is an easy fix. Go to your local radio shack and buy a male-male standard 3.5mm cable. Plug in all the wires except the one for the side speakers into your subwofer and plug in the 3 connectors on the other end. At this point you have 5.1 surround sound. Next use the 3.5mm male to male wire and plug in one end to the side speakers slot on the subwoofer, and the other into the respective slot on your sound card, problem solved, with a mere 5 bucks

i found this on the site, it might help
sounds like to me its ran mono
make sure your wiring is correct
well...
make sure all the cables are hooked up... if analog you will have to hook up 3 cables not just 1. the razer manual will show you how...
check the settings in the razer application and make sure 7.1 is selected and not "headphones" or "2 speakers"
that is what I would do first..
let us know if you are using optical... or if you are on vista.
some pics will help to :D
if you got some bootleg ass speakers like me, it's only going to make noise when you 'test' it. but you gotta set it to like the front speakers for it to actually work. (when listening to MP3s and anything else you want to hear real sound from) but then again, you're using the barracuda, so that's where my help is probably already void.
yeah all the cables are hooked up
and yes its set to the 7.1 thing not the headphones
i am running windows vista ultimate x64
hey mike =D
hey tim lol :D
