OnLive Beta

Has anyone gotten an invite to the OnLive Beta? I signed up MONTHS ago and just got an invite, just wondering if anyone knew how the beta was going so far.

ewww >>>>onlive

OnLive.......

I hope everyone is ready for the decline of the game industry and no more competitive market.

Communism, here we come!!!

Is OnLive really that bad?

I refuse to use ONlive even if I was paid $100 and got my shoes spit shined every 30 min I spend playing onlive.

the menu system will make your eyes die a little bit.

Well, could someone post pictures? I thought this would bring PC gaming back... That was almost a year ago though.

The only thing that will bring PC gaming BACK:

The decimation of the Xbox Platform and Microsoft getting DX destroyed by something greater. (or if some PC gaming purist software company makes some amazingly new shit!)

Until then... PC gaming is going to slowly die.

in the end.. it's all about money... stupid annoying money.

Das ist alles

sucks.

It makes PC's consoles. No need to customize hardware, less sales for manufacturers. Stupid monthly payments. Not something I want to do. Stupid server lag. Stupid.

To Qain,

I blame Intel for the death of PC gaming.
EDIT
And Microsoft, can't forget about their paws in the PC gaming industry.

INTEL???!?!?!

How does intel have anything to do with PC gaming its clearly the gaming industry thats killing PC gaming.

Also, imagine if the server went downs for days, weeks, or months.....

It's beyond your control, and i sleep better at night when i have control...

Also, what if a storm hits where the server broadcasts?

Intel because they used those kickback relations to get a shitty GPU in every laptop and desktop as opposed to an 8200. Which I know can run most modern games on minimum to medium. Maybe even a 9400 if Nvidia had more market share.

That has nothing to do with PC gaming.

It's just business. Maybe if PC gaming was more popular this would have not happened. I'm 100% sure PC gaming was never on any companies mind for regular office/desktop pc's.

I agree. HP multimedia laptops should be able to run HL2 engine games without lag. They cannot. If everyone bought a computer that could play games, I bet they'd be more likely to play games.
