Online retailers selling the asus m5a97 evo r2.0?

I can't find it on either Amazon or Newegg...

This board is hard to find outsite europe. unfortunatly.

Look at the Asus M5A99X evo R2.0, or the Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0.

Yep, I could find both of em easily on US retailers. The point is that I was trying to save myself some bucks by buying from US retailers and shipping it to Italy with some third party world wide shipping company such as ViaBox. Surprisingly enough I found that I could buy a M5A99X (+PSU+CPU) and give 50$ to ViaBox for shipping and still spend just as much as if I were to buy the M5A97 (+PSU+CPU again) here. These prices are ridiculous...

The point is that I don't really trust ViaBox that much and I think that in case of HW failure it would be a mess to send stuff back...what do you think?

Well if you wanne buy it in a diffrent country, why dont you look at the Netherlands, the Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 is arround €84 uphere.

With shipping will cost you extra money from outside europe, you also need to pay import tax, i guess you will saving not that much. I think the option underneath would be your best bet.

I think Angel has a point there. But you're right.Should you get a faulty product, the exchange would be a pain in the arse. I'm running that risk right now.Half my stuff is from the USA.And i live halfway across the globe. So far so good.

i had personaly also looked at that point, to ship everything from the states, but with the import tax etc in the Netherlands, it wouldn´t save me that much of cash in the end. also the risk of a faulty product and rma´s etc is gonne be a pain and cost alot. in my opinnion not worth it. i personaly live in the Netherlands near the german border, i buy from the Netherlands, and somethimes in Germany, its just where the parts are cheaper.

I know what you mean. We have the import tax but it only kicks in my stuff exceeds a certain value.I split up my purchases to circumvent the tax.

Divergence-i suggest you still look at getting it in Italy. Save the hassle of returns on such a fragile piece of equipment.

I will most likely do so :)
