Oneplus One rooting problem

I have a oneplus one. im on CM 12
This is what I get when I ‘‘apply
update’’ via the CM stock recovery, I tried this with cm12.1 nightly
and multiple superSU binary ZIP files. My phone isnt rooted as far as I know,
but I when I search “root access” in the options I get this.

When I look in developer options its not actually there so idk. I
couldnt find any answers on google. My main goal is just to get my phone rooted.
I am very sorry if this thread is inappropriate for the forum.

they way i rooted mine was unlock the bootloader and install custom recovery(TWRP) and flash the zip.

It ain't inappropriate, the OnePluse One officially doesn't give a darn if you root, which makes it legal, or some bs like that.

Do what MrDerxX said, that's how ya root it. That's how I did mine too.
