One monitor to rule them all

I currently have 3 displays, a 27" pb278q 1440p in the center with 24" VG248QE 1080p's on either side. I love the real estate but dont like having 3 monitors, just to big and to much bezel for my home setup. I am looking to go to one large 4k display or maybe an ultra wide display. I need 60hz, great color and space for everything. I will be selling all three monitors I have so I will have that money plus a few hundred I will throw in on top so my budget will be around $1000.00. What display would you guys recommend to replace my existing setup? The setup will be media consumption, lots of gaming, content creation and just daily use.

I'm looking into UltraWide 1440p Monitors as well. I've only found a few, and they're pretty pricey. Still within your budget though. There's the AOC U3477PQU, LG 34UC97, and the LG 34UM95. The 34UC97 is curved, so if you're into that sort of thing..It's the most expensive one out of the bunch though. I'm still trying to find a Korean version of a UltraWide 1440p monitor. As far as 4K monitors go, I'm not quite sure. Haven't looked into those to much.

of these the LG 34UM95 is a real contender. If I don't find a really nice 4K display I will be going with the LG. Thanks!

Holy mother of Gaben... Acer Predator XR341CK I will be waiting to see the pricing and reviews on this bad boy.

Philips 40" 4K LED BDM4065UC looks fantastic, but I don't know how easy it is to get.

I was looking at that but I am worried about the lag and the fact that I cant find anywhere to buy it in the states.

Total Display Lag (SMTT 2) 24.0

Pixel Response Time Element 3.70

Estimated Signal Processing Lag 20.30

Lag Classification 2

I am down to 3 monitors to choose from and here they are in order.

1.) Acer XB280HK bprz $750 right now 4K, 60hz, G-Sync but only 28" I game a lot and the 4K G-Sync Acer will pair with my SLI 780's very nicely.

2.) LG Electronics UM95 34UM95 $820 3440x1440, 60hz no G-Sync but 34" and ultra wide. tons of real estate, probably the best option for replacing my multi monitor setup but no G-Sync and not 4K.

3.) ASUS PG278Q ROG Swift $780 1440P, G-Sync and 144hz also small at 27" only reason its on the list is because 144hz and G-Sync. I think the 4K Acer is a better G-Sync option.

Their is a 40 Inch 4k Philips Monitor that you can get on amazon.uk or ebay
