Anyone else given this a listen? I've been listening to it for the last 3 days pretty much non-stop. Typically with all their albums my favourite track keeps shifting as I listen to the album more. To give you a taste here's my current favourite...as of this hour hahah.

Rock on man. I'm a big Mastodon fan, but I havent had a chance to pick up the new album. I'm glad you're liking it. I think some of the older Mastodon fans were a little thrown off when they started shifting their tastes a bit away from their super aggressive roots to a more broad, complex rock inspired sound. I've really been enjoying their newer stuff and I still love their older albums too. Not quite sure why people think they need to restrict themselves into one niche without trying anything new. Boredom sometimes coincides with becoming more seasoned in the music industry and I think its cool that they have been experimenting with new sounds. Awesome band. One of my favs :)
Definitely another great album from Mastodon. I've been a big fan of them since Leviathan and the fact that they've stuck to the same idea of having a sort of story behind each of their albums is an aspect that I love. The fact that some people don't like that they've shifted their tastes from a more heavy and aggressive style, I just don't get it. Bands have to mature which means their music will as well. Anyways I love the new album and hope to experience more great music from Mastodon for years to come. Enjoy and Rock on man!
