Old PC upgrade

I have an old Dell Optiplex 745 laying around and I'd like to upgrade it a bit and use it for 2D/3D CAD and stick it in the garage after I insulate/drywall it. I'd like to give it a graphics card but it's PCI Express is only 1.0a, and I don't know if it will support the PCI Express 2.0 quadro k600 I'm looking at getting for it. If it helps the data sheet for the pc says it has an Intel Q965 Express chipset. So if anyone knows whether they're compatible or not, or has a better idea, let me know.

Well, usually I would recommend the GTX 750 Ti since its low power consumption makes it a viable option for older PCs, but if the PCIe is only 1.0a, I would think about getting a new PC. PCIe 3.0 and 2.0 don't have that much of a big difference in terms of real life gaming speed, but I don't know how it is with 1.0.
